Brief History

Bishop Anthony Fernandes invited the Vincentian Fathers to work in the Diocese. They responded willingly and started working in Aonla in 1992 staying in a rented house. Over the years, they have been successfully engaged in mission activities and social work in and around Aonla. Sisters of the Holy Family of Agra Province have started an English Medium School. They also do social work in the neighbouring villages, running adult literacy centres and tailoring classes for the village girls.
