Brief History:

This Parish was erected on 6th June 1976 and the first Parish Priest was Mgr Lazar SDB. The Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School is managed by this Parish. The Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny are running a hostel.In 1990 this Parish came under the charge of the Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore. The first Diocesan Priest was Fr Pascal Petrius.
