Hello,
I always wonder why such an Iconic and holy shrine like St. Michaels church is slowing degrading….to quote Jesus in the Bible when he visited the temple in Jerusalem….”you have made this into a den of thieves”.

Such a miraculous church is losing its sanctity thanks to some apatheic,indifferent priests in charge.
First its never clean, the altar,the cross is never fully cleaned, the same flower arrangement or decoration for any feast or christmas.
There is ever increasing number of drug-addicts,beggarrs, squatters, hawkers at any point of time present outside the church, inspite of such a reputed authority our priests fail to even make an attempt to keep the place holy and take action against them.
Why such a plain drab outward enviroment for such a rich,prestigious church, they have enoug money but never make an attempt to renovate, paint,beautify the church, the statue holders are old and unattended, no greens, no fresh flowers,its in a pits….
Action I think we need some young energetic priest who will take up the responsibiity of restoring the church’s glory. Please visit the churches in south India you would know what iam talking about!!!Sad

Dear Parish Priest
I always wanted to tell you that for the feast day on 27th June why is the church not at all decorated,it is so hurtful and dissappointing.
There is nothing new done to honour our mother, is it a case of ineptness or sheer laziness by the church in charge..shame on you people, you have so much money and yet the church and mother is not appropriately honoured and venerated.

I never visiter mumbai before so dont have any idea about accommadation. Our parish priest has issued a letter about our character and residence proof to hand over to any parishpriest in mumbai.
Sir kindly guide me 2 whom i have 2 give that letter and in which address in mumbai.

Dear Father,
My name is Sukanya John, I belong to Tamil Nadu ( Chennai). My Family has a sad story . when my father and his brothers were very young one of my fathers younger brother named ARIC MICHEAL D’CRUZE acquired mumps on his left cheecks . since my father’s family was very poor they had to go to a local lady who treats it, then what happend was the lady poured the medicine in an empty toilet acid bottle and gave it . when the medicine got mixed with the remains of acid it turned an acid too . ignorant of that my grand pa applied it on the child’s cheek . later the flesh of the area the medicine was applied was ruptured and it fell . Later they took the child to an orphanage and asked for help ,where they said that it will take some lakhs to treat it and if they want them to treat the child they should not ask for the baby back . considering the life of the child my grand pa signed the agreement . after soo many years we came to know that he became a priest and was hosting a mass in one of the parishes in Mumbai . During mass he specified that he was bought up in an ashram but he has parents and brothers and that he belongs to Tamil Nadu. He got his Priestlyhood in one of the foriegn country but he is in India now. We grand children are taking the effort of finding him . Please help us if you get to know any priest of this story . praise the lord,i mr.rajen kumar makhal residing at jogeshwari (East),mumbai.i got one daughter (Mary Roshni Makhal ix std)and one son (Sourav Steve Makhal iv std)both are schooling at st.xavier’s high school at andheri (east),mumbai but due to very much poor mark in mathematics she got failed in std ix this year and i am really broken down for that incident but again i am doing for special class for maths and she is going to appear private in ssc by next year.
so,father i would like to request to pray for my daughter as well as they are nearly 21 boys and girls those who are appearing private like my daughter.
it’s a very much humble request that kindly i need your blessing and pray for those childrens to get good score in ssc by next year 2012.
as well as i am looking for job so that i may take my family’s responsibilities in very much strong way to guide in chirstianity what jesus taught us.
