Dear All,With due respect to all fathers in our church I have great respect for each and every priest. Today was Palm Sunday, and my daughter and I joined the Mary Immaculate Procession where palms were blessed. Father blessed us when we we lifted the palms and we stood in the queue. I am 51 years old. one of the ushers viz Navin was volunteering. There were many other people standing with us. He only came to me and and my daughter and asked do you know marathi, you don’t understand English. We just moved a little. Again I am a woman he taps on my back several times and tells me to move forward. Are the volunteers supposed to touch ladies. This is not the first incident. I asked him why are you harassing me. He grumbled and left. This is not the first instance. Many students and animators also have complained. For instance one animator was sitting and that place was reserved for sick. Since there was no one standing there she occupied that seat. This man tells her very harshly does not she understand that this seat is for old people even when not a single person was seated there. Please do not keep such volunteers who do not know to respect ladies, children etc. People come to church to meditate, not to spoil their mood during mass. Today is the beginning of Holy Week. Please ask him to be humble, kind and loving towards people and not boss over the people just because he is a usher. You pray for the ushers. Is this is the example they set for the people in church. Such people should not become ushers.
