Brief History:

The church was initially established as a small thatched structure in 1948 through the dedicated efforts of Rev. Fr. Ephrem Gomas, then Vicar Forane of Trivendrum Diocese. Following this, 84 cents of land were purchased for constructing a permanent church building. Construction commenced in 1953 and was completed in 1956 when the church was consecrated. The parish serves 165 families as a branch under Guardian Angels Church, Melpuram.
