Brief History:

This parish was established in 1939 when the first stone church was constructed under Fr. Gnanaprakasam. Initially serving as a chapel of Holy Family Church, Seydhunganallur, it was elevated to an independent parish on May 23, 2010, by Bishop Ivo Ambrose. The church is dedicated to St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers and families. The farming community has received numerous blessings through St. Joseph’s intercession, and the parish now serves 300 families across four affiliated chapels, including St. Martin de Porres and St. Child Theresa chapels. A special healing Mass with procession is held on the first Wednesday of each month.
