Brief History:
People from outside settlements migrated to the Nadukkaarangkaadu region between 1875 and 1900, initially earning their livelihood through palm climbing. The original small chapel was constructed using clay tiles and palm wood. Around 1950–1952, a more substantial stone-walled church was built and dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. The church serves 75 families as a branch chapel under Christ the King Church, Nanguneri. The annual feast is celebrated over ten days during the Tamil month of Aavani, beginning on August 1 and concluding on August 10.
