Brief History:

In 1623, Robert de Nobili evangelized Salem and surrounding areas, including Senthamangalam. By 1679, Senthamangalam was established as one of seven branch parishes. Father Bricco’s efforts in 1896 resulted in acquiring land and constructing a beautiful church dedicated to Our Lady of Health as patroness. The parish serves 106 families and is situated 13 km from Namakkal and 23 km from Rasipuram. Three branch chapels serve surrounding communities including Saint Jude Thaddeus Church, Belukurichi.
