Brief History:

The Sisters of St. John of Brightness conducted missionary work in Pallathadanoor for approximately 26 years, initially from a rented residence. They engaged in catechesis, arranged marriages, and provided education to poor children. The original church was constructed and consecrated on December 18, 1989, by Rev. Fr. Arokiyaraj. When Koottathupatty Parish became an independent parish, Pallathadanoor transferred to its jurisdiction as a branch. A sisters’ convent commemorating the silver jubilee of the sisters’ ministry (1974-1999) was consecrated on September 12, 1999. The present church was constructed under Rev. Fr. Victor Cruse’s tenure and consecrated on May 30, 2016, by Bishop Singarayyan of the Salem Diocese. The church serves 30 families and celebrates its feast on May 13 in honour of Our Lady of Fátima.
