Brief History:

Established through the personal initiative of devotee G. Kasbaraj during the tenure of Bishop S. Iruthayaraj and Fr. Mariam Michael. A thatched chapel was built on October 13, 1981. The original thatched chapel was damaged in heavy rains and restored with an asbestos roof. Officially registered to the diocese in 1991. The current church building was consecrated on June 1, 2008, and elevated to independent parish status on June 1, 2017, as the Diocese’s 54th parish. The church serves 135 families. The feast is celebrated June 1-13.
