Brief History:
Originally established as a branch chapel under Dasarappalli parish in 1962, the community built their church with local contributions and foreign aid. The foundation stone was laid on May 9, 1965, and the church was blessed on October 6, 1967. It transitioned to mission status in 2013 when Sisters established educational programs. Following renovations completed in March 2019, the parish was elevated to full parish status on February 23, 2022, with Fr. Vijay Amrtharaj as the first parish priest. The church serves 87 families and the feast is celebrated in the second week of February. Located 6 km from Thali along the Achipalai road.
