Parish Priest – Rev. Fr. T. Sahayaraj.
Church Established – 1924.

Brief History:

Built in 1924 using lime mortar, the church initially served the Dindigul St. Valan Cathedral Parish. The structure deteriorated, so a new church was built in the main town area during Fr. S. Chinnapan’s tenure in 1986. When Dindigul Diocese separated from Trichy Diocese in 2003, this parish became a branch serving the broader community. The church serves 50 families and the January festival attracts interfaith participation with processions blessing residents. The feast is celebrated in January over 10 days (second and third weeks). The church is a branch parish under the Cathedral Parish of St. Valan, Dindigul.
