Brief History:

The parish originated in 1910 when the area consisted of leather tanneries and worker settlements. In 1923, a small prayer shrine was established; by 1924, Fr. Odrian initiated church construction, completed in 1926 with the installation of the Xavier statue. Initially serving as both church and school, it expanded significantly. The parish became independent in 1996 under Fr. Maria Louis. A new church building was constructed and consecrated on January 16, 2002. The parish now serves approximately 1,200 families across four neighborhoods through various ministries. The feast is celebrated over ten days in December (December 3rd).
