Brief History:

The church originated to meet the spiritual needs of residents including children, elderly, and sick who travelled approximately one kilometer to the parent parish. Local clergy sought approval from the bishop for regular services and the community built the chapel on a small plot, then acquired additional land through congregational support. The foundation stone was laid on September 9, 2009, and the completed church was consecrated on May 15, 2015, by Bishop Jerome Das. It serves 125 families as a branch of Saint Theresa of Child Jesus Church, Kandanvilai.
