Brief History:

Holy Fatima Mother Church, Kallukootam, originated as a prayer gathering location in 1957 when local Christians needed spiritual services. The foundation stone was laid in 1964 by Fr. Lazarus, a native son, and the church structure was completed and dedicated on May 17, 1987. The parish achieved independent status in 2008, having previously been a branch of Congancode Parish. Today it serves 244 families with 7 religious communities and manages educational programmes, youth organisations, and various charitable associations.
