Brief History:

This congregation was established in a marginalized village called Kuravan Panjcci, characterised by poverty and illiteracy. Initial catechetical instruction began in 1947 through the efforts of Fr. Francis Borgia. The community received baptism in 1950 and was canonically established as a parish. A modest mud-walled chapel with a thatched roof was constructed in 1951 and replaced by a stone structure in 1955. The current church building was consecrated on August 15, 2007, and the parish was elevated to independent status in 2012, now serving 205 families.
