Brief History:

Holy Mother of Good Health Church, Munchirai, was established in 1905 with an initial palm-leaf roofed structure serving the local community. The church was reconstructed with stone walls and tile roofing in 1914 through the efforts of Fr. Louis Henry. The parish was elevated to independent status on October 7, 2000. A new church building was consecrated on January 25, 2024, serving the local faithful with devotion to Our Lady of Good Health whose feast is celebrated over 10 days around September 8.
