Brief History:

Our Lady of Presentation Church, Raviputhur Kadai, traces its origins to an extraordinary maritime incident approximately 400 years ago when local fishermen discovered a wooden chest floating in the sea containing a statue of the Virgin Mary. After a miraculous lottery, the village of Raviputhur Kadai claimed the sacred image and constructed a small chapel, experiencing remarkable spiritual transformations. Following administrative reorganisation in 2014 establishing the Kuliturai Diocese, the parish underwent significant expansion, culminating in the consecration of a newly constructed church building on May 13, 2018. The parish serves approximately 88 families as a branch of Saint Jude Thaddaeus Church, Manjadi.
