Brief History:

Rosary Mother Church, Pilavile, was established in 1954 when Fr. Mary Ephraem Gomas acquired land and constructed a palm-thatched chapel. The first liturgy was a Christmas celebration at which 120 individuals were baptised. The structure was rebuilt with a tile roof in 1956 and incorporated under Lourdes Mother Church parish in 1970. Today the branch parish serves approximately 72 families devoted to Our Lady of the Rosary, whose feast is celebrated in October.
