Brief History:

Saint Susai Church, Tharathattu, was established in the early 1970s to serve approximately 100 Catholic families in the area. Land totalling 51 cents was donated by local residents, and construction commenced in 1976. The church was completed and consecrated by Bishop Arokiasamy in 1978 as a branch of St. Anthony’s Church, Mullanganavila. A new church structure was consecrated on April 28, 2017. Today the parish serves approximately 230 families across 9 religious associations.
