Brief History:

Approximately 40 years ago, priests from the Pious Society of Saint Paul conducted worship services on a rock in the Veelaakkodu area of Perunsani. Rev. Fr. Sathiyanesam and Rev. Fr. Lourdu Raj played instrumental roles in establishing this as a formal parish. In 1996, 10 cents of land was purchased and the church foundation stone was laid. The parish was officially recognised as a branch church on January 1, 2012, affiliated with Ezhimala parish. The church structure was upgraded from asbestos to concrete roofing in 2007, now serving 20 families.
