Brief History:

St. Francis Xavier Church, Pullanguzhi, was established on land donated by Mr. Anthony Goulden to serve inland fishermen near Tolayavattam fish market, initially as a branch of Ilavulila parish with ministry provided by the Congregation of Sisters. A new church building was constructed in 2002 under Fr. Robert Pennyand and completed during Fr. Varghese’s tenure before becoming a branch of Pullani parish. The parish currently serves approximately 20 families.
