Brief History:
Starting in 1973, Mr. Seriyyan served as a caretaker at the Chittar Dam and initiated efforts to bring religious services to the locality. Mass was conducted in worker housing verandas and streets during special occasions like Christmas and Easter. The parish gradually developed through community efforts, and formal construction began in the 1980s. After various challenges with authorities regarding land permissions, the church was eventually established as a subsidiary parish under Alanjolai Parish in May 2009. The church serves 45 families across 4 associations.
