Brief History:

This branch parish was established in 2009 to serve families who returned to their homeland after living in Sri Lanka. The area, known as Ceylon Colony, houses approximately 225 families, of which 15 are Catholic. Located near the Antipatty-Theni highway adjacent to the government medical college hospital, the church provides a place of worship for this resettled community. The church is a branch of Savior of the World Church, Theni, and celebrates its feast in September with a three-day celebration.
