Brief History:

St. Anthony’s Church at Karadikkal is a branch church under the care of St. Sebastian’s Church, Nagalur, within the Anthiyur Deanery of the Ooty Diocese. The church was established in 2005 through the efforts of the local community. It was formally developed as a chapel in 2008 by members of the Saint Velankanni Pilgrimage Group of Chennai and later restructured as a branch church. The parish serves approximately 25 families. Monthly services include Eucharistic adoration and community fellowship. The feast of St. Anthony is celebrated on the Sunday following June 13th.
