Brief History:

The church traces its origins to newly converted Christians in Molasi village guided by Namakkal parish priest Rev. Fr. Matthew Thekkatam. Following 1946 when Holy Lourdes Mother Church, Perungurichi became a separate parish, Molasi operated under its jurisdiction. The original chapel was replaced with a new structure, with assistance from parish priest Rev. Fr. J. Barbier, community donations, and constructed by Perungurichi parish priest Rev. Fr. Mario Rotticini. Bishop Singarayan consecrated and inaugurated it on December 9, 2000. When Holy Mother Church, Solasirammani was elevated to independent parish status in 2005, Molasi became its branch parish. The church serves 28 families and celebrates its feast on October 2 in honour of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (Little Flower). Located on the road from Solasirammani to Pattloor.
