Brief History:

Initially under Namakkal Parish, this congregation became a branch of Holy Lourdes Mother Church, Perungurichi in 1946. The current structure was constructed under Rev. Fr. Mario Rodesini’s initiatives and officially dedicated by Salem Bishop S. Singarayyan on March 4, 2001. On February 3, 2021, during Saint Joseph’s Jubilee Year celebration, the church was officially recognized as a pilgrimage shrine. The parish serves 84 families with community groups including the Saint Joseph Service Team, Youth Association, Choir, and Altar Servers. The feast is celebrated on the first Saturday of May.
