Brief History:

Saint Mary Magdalene Church in Pattloor is unique in the Salem Diocese for its circular architectural design, constructed by Fr. Mario Rodesini. Originally a branch of Perungurichi Parish, the church was consecrated on May 14, 2005. On December 27, 2015, it was elevated to independent parish status under Bishop C. Singarayyan, with Fr. Bilwendra as the first pastor. The Mercy of Mother Sisters (OdeM) have significantly contributed to the spiritual development of the community since 2012. The parish serves 52 families with two religious communities and celebrates its feast during the second week of August.
