Brief History:

This approximately 95-year-old parish was originally a subsidiary of Christ the King Church, Namakkal before gaining independent status. The current church building was constructed and consecrated in 2006. The parish has grown to include three mission chapels and operates a primary school on its 15-acre campus near the Salem Cooperative Sugar Factory. Located 20 km south of Namakkal, the parish serves 80 families and the patronal feast of St. Cecilia is celebrated on November 22 each year. The parish is part of the Salem Diocese.
