Brief History:
Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pathinanagar, was established after residents from Thadavapallam relocated to the area for better accessibility. An initial thatched chapel was built for rosary services, and from 1973 the village adopted the name Pathinanagar. The current church building was constructed in 1988 and consecrated by Bishop Packiam Arokiasamy. The parish of 79 families continues to experience the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima, and observes a monthly second Saturday procession and evening rosary prayer. The parish feast is celebrated in June.
