Brief History:

The village of K.K. Patti, originally named Kona Kollai Patti, was settled by ancestors approximately 300 years ago. They selected Saint Kitheriammal as their patroness and protector, a devotion that has been faithfully passed down through generations. Construction of the church began in 1909, but financial constraints delayed its completion until 1959. The parish was officially elevated to independent status in 1987 and today oversees five affiliated branch churches in surrounding villages including Regunathapuram, Karambakkudi, and Tennaur. The feast of St. Kitheriammal is celebrated annually on May 21.
