Brief History:

The parish was established in 1962 by Rev. Fr. Zacharias Kayattara in a small palm-thatched structure. The community grew significantly through missionary work and catechesis. The permanent church building was consecrated on June 26, 1966, and the parish was elevated to parish status under Rev. Fr. Jacob Iyammathra in 1993. A new church building project began in 2015 and was consecrated on December 21, 2021. The parish comprises approximately 230 families and has produced 12 religious vocations.
