Brief History:

The church was established in 1913 in a scenic agricultural area. Initially, a storehouse and chapel were constructed among two large ponds to preserve locally grown crops. The parish was affiliated with Irudhayakkulam until 1994, when it became a subsidiary of the newly created Vikramasinghampuram parish under the Franciscan Capuchin order. In 1996, the structure was relocated to a prominent location near the main road and officially dedicated by the bishop. The church serves 170 families. Sunday Mass is held at 7:30 AM. The feast is celebrated on December 3rd over 10 days beginning the last week of November.
