Brief History:

Ramnagar is situated at the foot of Kumaon hills and it is the link city to Jim Corbett Park. It has been visited from Bailparao station since there are a few Christian families settled here. As a starting point, Sisters of St. Anne’s Providence have opened an ashram called “Vardan”. Sr. Jaya is the pioneer of this ashram. She, with her simple life style of a “Sadhvi” has made a good impact on the people around the area. People are getting acquainted with the spiritual side of the Church and Christians as a praying community.
