Brief History:

Dedicated to St. Thomas Dulabitha was a substation of Belatanr. It was separated in 1982. Fr. Celestine Murmu was the first resident priest there. The new church was built by Fr. C.J. Mathew ad blessed on May 3, 1994. According to the Baptismal Registers the following were at Dulabitha: Fr. Scaria Kollerette (1983-90), Fr. C.J. Mathew (1990-93); Fr. Devasia M.A. (1993-94); Fr. Joachim Viegas (1995-99); Fr. Samuel Murmu (2000); Fr.Simon Kujur (2001); Fr. Thomas Kozhimala; Fr. Simon Murmu (2001- ). Number of Catholics 800; families 180; villages 20.
