For Souvinir__________SIGNIFICANT achievement________________________Infant Jesus Church of Behala.Kolkata was built in humble way,donated by Sir Biren Roy.First Parish priest was Late Rev Fr John Naronah followed by Rev Fr Rudolf and now present Parish priest Rev Fr Lucas D'suza.Since the inception of the Infant Jesus Church Behala from 1991 has seen sea change. Especially last six years there has been a significant progress and all round development.1) English speaking,Hindi speaking and Bengali speaking community have been brought in one circleand jelled well.It is observed all above mentioned communities support each other in any program or any occasion is to be noted.A brotherhood feeling is always there.2) Family Sunday.It really helped many to know each other over a cup of tea & biscuits.3) Various activities by youths Infant jesus church youth have made wave in Kolkata in numerous competition.4) Quire ! Each community has different instruments for rich melody & hymns.5) Infant Jesus feast celebration solemnly.6) Sisters of various orders are always there ever ready to help & support.7) Senior Citizens day.makes them feel important is great.! 8) Finally construction & beautifying the church beyond expectation.Iron Staircase,Flooring,Sound System,Ground floor expansion,constructing extra wash rooms.Thanks to present Parish Priest & church Council members for their en devour & end less effort of making what INFANT JESUS CHURCH is to dayNot forgetting the support of valuable Parishioners who always stood by whenever any guidance or help was required May we move forward each day for better day with blessing from our Almighty God.
