Brief History:

This Parish was looked after by the Salesian Priests of Perambur and was erected as an independent Parish on 25 05 2001 by Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore Most Rev Dr Arul Das James. It is a happy coincidence that Rev Fr A M Chinnappa SDB, the then Parish Priest of Perambur, 25 years ago, registered this Church land. The Rev Father is now the present Archbishop of this historical Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore.
