This parish was bifurcated from Poonamallee and erected as a separate parish on 29th June 2001. The Parish serves a Catholic population of 650. DMI Sisters of this Parish run St Joseph’s Hospital and St Joseph’s Higher Secondary School at Muthu Kumaran Nagar, Poonamallee.
