Brief History:
St. Anthony’s Church, Appattuvilai, originated in 1918 when the community worshipped as a branch of Maadathattuvilai. A stone cross was erected, around which a shrine was built, and the first Mass was celebrated on December 25, 1942. The parish was elevated to independent status over time and serves approximately 190 families. The church features a Lourdes chapel, gallery, library, entrance gate, and flagpole.
