Brief History:
Our Lady of Fatima Church, Moolachel, has its roots in missionary outreach more than a century ago when priests and sisters evangelized in Koolachel village, leading to approximately 100 conversions. In 1950, a small chapel was constructed with community assistance. The building was significantly expanded and consecrated on May 18, 1990 by Bishop Leon A. Dharmaraj. The congregation became a branch of St. Anthony’s Church, Manali, in 2002, and serves approximately 200 families.
