Brief History:

This rural settlement northeast of Alanchsolai developed as a branch parish to serve scattered Catholic families who found travelling difficult. Local residents including Mr. John Rose and Mr. Rayappan joined the mother parish around 2007. With support from diocesan leadership and community contributions, the church was established, receiving its dedication from St. Francis de Sales. The facility has since undergone renovation with a new bell tower and roadside shrine added under current pastoral guidance. It serves 15 families as a branch of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Alanchsolai.
