Brief History:
This modest shrine originated from a simple wooden cross erected by local Christian communities in the 1950s on land previously owned by a caretaker named Manuel. Marvels and wonders occurred, drawing crowds from various areas to seek intercession through Saint Anthony. The community maintained monthly masses and novenas on Tuesdays. A formal chapel was constructed in 1975, and the present church building was consecrated in 2009 following significant expansion in the local Christian population. The parish serves 125 families.
