Brief History:

This rural congregation developed around agricultural and palm cultivation in Achampadu village. Approximately one hundred years ago, villagers transformed a small tiled chapel into a grand church featuring a single tower, later establishing a dual-towered structure. Emigration to Malaysia, Singapore, and Colombo brought prosperity that funded church renovations and expansions. The church grounds feature a boundary wall, a chariot, and a shrine of St. Michael the Archangel at the village perimeter, serving 50 families with daily evening rosary devotions.
