Brief History:
On 2nd October 1977, St Luke’s Church, Anna Nagar was bifurcated from Kilpauk and erected as a parish by His Grace, the Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore Dr R Arulappa. The first Parish Priest was Fr Paul Maruthanakuzhi, SSP. From its inception, this Parish was entrusted to the religious Priests of St Paul. In 1990 the church was extended. The Parishioners built an adoration chapel and a church dedicated to the Divine Mercy. The Parishioners look after the maintenance of the Church. The Divine Mercy Chuch was blessed and consecrated on the 29th of June 2003 by Most Rev Dr Arul Das James, the Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore. The Parish has three sub-stations.

Dear Father,My sister is going to undergo a major Heart Operation on spet 19th at MIOT Hospital.. We are not getting any blood donors to come for screening on 18th and during operation on 19th , because for this surgery need fresh blood donors..Kindly pray for her to have a safe surgery and give her life back…Also kindly help us if you know anybody with A+ blood group..who are ready to donate the blood…Thank you father
