Brief History:
The parish was established in 1957 when people living far from Barkur Church in the Kannumamoothu area were gathered together, and 50 cents of land was purchased at Mullankunhi to build the initial structure with a thatched roof. An older church building was completed in 1972 and later replaced with the current edifice constructed in 2008. Ongoing development work includes tower construction and altar work, serving around 90 families.
