Brief History:
Christ the King Church, Eethavila, traces its origins to 1914 when a stone cross was erected through the efforts of Mr. Madhavadiya. The structure was elevated to a proper altar with a statue of St. George installed. A new church building’s foundation was laid in 1963 and after completion through parishioner efforts and donations, it was consecrated in 1965 by Bishop Leon A. Dharmaraj. The church underwent renovation in 2012 and serves as a branch parish of St. Anthony’s Church, Sembaruthi, with approximately 170 families.
