Brief History:

Originally part of the Holy Assumption Church in Mathiravilai, the parish was established when local residents purchased land in the Kuzhuvilai area for worship. The community constructed a small shrine dedicated to Saint Michael. Following official designation as a branch parish in 1987, the church expanded its reach. The structure was destroyed by fire in 1993 but was reconstructed, becoming a symbol of resilience for the faithful community, now serving approximately 160 families across multiple nearby villages.
