Brief History:

Located in the picturesque region where three rivers converge, this parish was established approximately a century ago when local Catholics constructed a simple thatched structure. The community expanded significantly over decades, leading to construction of a permanent stone building with tile roof. The current church structure was consecrated on May 14, 1979 by Bishop Arokiasamy. The parish was elevated to independent status on May 24, 1991, becoming the 100th parish of Kottayam Diocese under Bishop Leon A. Dharmaraj, now serving 112 families with 6 religious sisters.
