Brief History:
This was the first church globally dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux following her canonisation in 1925. The structure was constructed between 1927-1929 under Fr. Ignatius Maria direction. The church was consecrated on April 7, 1924 and formally dedicated to St. Therese on May 17, 1925. The parish was elevated to independent status on November 5, 1944. The church holds two bells gifted by St. Therese Carmelite sisters and features a rosary hill with fourteen Stations of the Cross.
