Brief History:

Holy Lourdes Mother Church, Nellikaavila, was established in 1955 under Fr. Ephraim Gomez’s ministry, when land was purchased and the initial structure was consecrated. Subsequent priests including Fr. Sebastian and Fr. Wenceslaus established the Holy Mary Primary School. A new church building was constructed during Fr. Paul Stephen’s tenure and consecrated by the Bishop, with educational facilities expanded further under Fr. Sakaiya Justus’s leadership. The parish is a branch of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Bagode, serving approximately 65 families.
